Stormy Day
It's another wild and wet stormy day in the Pacific Northwest. The poor birds and squirrels in my backyard look miserable; they are all very, very wet with droopy feathers and matted down fur. Poor babies. For some reason there are always more birds when the weather is nasty like this. There has been much activity all day long - almost frenzied. And much fighting over feeders which is so funny because it's not like I don't have plenty of feeders - at last count there are about 30 different feeders scattered throughout the yard of one kind or another: suet, tube, hummingbird, peanut, corn cob, etc. Something for everyone - no need to be greedy, but they still chase each other off - I guess they don't like to share.
